I survived Thanksgiving alone with my kids. Yes unfortunately my hubby had to work…all the 4 days. We had some fun and a lot of relax time so it wasn’t that bad.
Last year we began too with the Elf on the Shelf tradition and the kids were so excited to have their Elf back last Saturday!
Our Elf is a girl and her name is FRANCESCA.
This year my daughter isn’t so scared about all the elf thing (you have to admit it is a kinda creepy…and THAT look!?! Creepy creepy).
Well the fun has began. So, in addition to the advent calendar, every night I have to remmber and create some sort of fun stage of the Elf.
There are TONS of ideas and people…you ARE INSANE! Cmon don’t put so much efford, can we do some simple things…it is too much work!
Well, I have to admit it that I also have some fun. Especially in the morning when the kids go look to find her and are so surprised and amaze…this will not last forever and I’m trying to keep that magic the longer I can!
So it was fun to found Francesca having fun at a GIRLS NIGHT OUT…
And yesterday she even brought some Gingerbread houses for the kids to build (first time we did one!):
I’ve decided to create some decorations to give you for free with some cute little elves! I’ll start with a Elf House Box that you can use to hang or for little gifts.
We will actually use them for Tommy’s class and we will fill them with stickers and notes (no candies allowed!). Have fun!
